The People's Republic of China is also a country member of the South Pacific Tourism Organisation.

The South Pacific Tourism Organisation is dedicated to facilitating the sustainable development of the tourism sector in the South Pacific, thus contributing to pillar one of the Pacific Plan (economic growth).
