The Commission for Relations with South Pacific is headquartered in the Academy for Management of Innovations (AMI).  AMI is an education institution having strong cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (CCI RF). Particularly, the Board for Contacts with (Legislative & Executive) Authorities at the Committee for Appraisal of CCI RF is headquartered in AMI.  It is found on this page http://www.tpprf.ru/img/uploaded/2006062112361086.doc  (in Russian) where I am listed under # 63 (Троян Эрнст).

South Pacific was almost unknown to the Russian tourists and we hope that this first attempt will result to the further development. Although the origin of the idea is traced back to 80x – to travel for observations of the Southern constellations. It was the ‘old guard’ of Russian geographers and amateur astronomers of the Moscow Planetarium (some of them were close to the President of CCI RF Evgeny Primakov, as he was known in Russia as a specialist in foreign relations
with the Southern countries).
