Sustainable Tourism International (STI) is a
registered company in Fiji, offering specialized services as Tourism Project
Managers, Training Advisers and Business Consultants. The company was formed in
2006 through a merger between KSaravi Tourism Consultancy in Fiji and Hyde
Tourism Consulting in Australia. The company is dedicated to the principles of
sustainable tourism development, particularly authentic ecotourism and community
based tourism, as a tool to enhancing cross-cultural awareness, developing and
delivering training and education programs, better environmental protection of
natural resources and an improved quality of life through social and economic
development.
In particular, the company can provide clients with
the professional expertise and understanding required when negotiating on
projects involving local indigenous communities, international aid and
development agencies, government departments, training and education providers,
project developers and investors. We also work with small and medium sized
tourism enterprises to improve their operations and
profitability.
