"Set on a ridge in the Owen Stanley Rangers, the lodge is about a half hour by light aircraft from Port Moresby. The lodge is a weekend hide out for mostly city residence and visitors who transit through Port Moresby. Bushwalking and fishing in nearby rivers are usually organised for visitors while home made cooking served beside a glowing fire provide a relaxing atmosphere in the evenings.
The local market gardens grow beautiful strawberries, fresh fruits and vegetables. Handcrafted bows and arrows, bilums and other artifacts can be bought outside the entrance to the lodge.
