Located in one of the world's most beautiful areas is this intimate, vacation hideaway. Mounu is the southern most inhabited island in the Vavau group. An idyllic south pacific, picture-perfect 6.5 acre coral attol fringed with white coral sands, surrounded by spectacular coral reefs and a fantatic spot to enjoy whale watching from your accommodation.

 Our accommodation is in Fales (the Tongan word for houses) and each fale is situated on its own piece of private waters edge providing stunning views of the surrounding islands and reefs. The accommodation has been carefully built to remain in keeping with the traditional styles of Tonga but ensuring complete comfort for your vacation. 
                                                  

Mounu is proud to be an eco resort and we utilise solar power with 12,24,110,240 volts being available. Rain water is collected, stored in tanks then filtered for use so you have drinking water available in your fale. The resort is connected with the outside world by VHF radio telephone and we also have internet access. We create delicious meals from the local organic foods and the abundance of fantastic fresh fish available.
