The Australia-Pacific Technical College (APTC) operates in the Pacific region and offers exciting training opportunities in a wide range of vocational areas including the Tourism & Hospitality, Health & Community Services and Automotive, Construction, Electrical & Manufacturing sectors. Our goal is to make quality vocational training available to all citizens of Pacific Island Forum countries.

As the APTC is an Australian Government initiative you’ll have the backing of an established qualification system – one that offers portable qualifications of an international standing that will help you go places with your career.

                                                         

Quality Training
Our quality assurance is governed by the requirements of the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF). This is a set of training and assessment guidelines that Australian training organisations nationwide are expected to deliver.
This means that as a student at APTC you benefit from:

• national and international recognition of your Australian qualifications
• training from an organisation that meets Australian standards
• enhanced career prospects as your training has been designed to meet the needs of various industries
• recognition of prior learning (this means that we can offer formal recognition of the skills and knowledge that you have gathered prior to study regardless of how, when or where that learning occurred,) and
• opportunities for further training or higher education at Australian educational institutions. The Australia-Pacific Technical College uses the services of two Australian Registered Training Organisations – Box Hill Institute and Sunshine Coast Institute of TAFE.

The APTC has 4 schools:

• Tourism & Hospitality in Fiji, Samoa & Vanuatu Health & Community 
• Services in Fiji, Vanuatu Automotive, Construction, Electrical & 
• Manufacturing in Fiji, PNG & Samoa
