Tourism Sector Study - Country Reports

Tourism is a cross cutting sector, which involves a broad range of
activities from transportation, to accommodation, to tours entertainment,
handicrafts and other goods and services.

The South Pacific tourism industry has shown positive growth in recent years
and there are many examples of businesses which have provided positive
returns to investors and which make a positive contribution to the region's
economy.

The South Pacific Tourism Organisation’s member countries offer many new
investment opportunities. SPTO is committed to facilitating investment
opportunities in the sector by delivering the up to date market information
to you and data to support investment decisions.

Linked below are a series of the country reports, which will provide you
with basic information, on the tourism sector in the SPTO member countries.
These reports were prepared through the PROFIT in the Pacific project, which
was funded by PROINVEST, an arm of the European Union.

All the country reports contain detailed information about key economic
indicators, current infrastructure set up, tourism trends and status, and
investment opportunities in various areas related to the tourism sector.

The Executive Summary gives an introductory overview of the fourteen sector
studies, and highlights the broad investment opportunities in each country.
